Some Trends of Website Design that Produce Will Make Your Site Better

It is observed by some that the web design of the early years was kind of boring and monotonous, reasonably so because anything new is always subject to improvement. Fortunately nowadays, several web design trends are constantly evolving that make new websites more interesting.

We observe more use and a little over the top of white space that search engine platforms find something undetectable, but people are watching where this trend will be going.

There is now a minimalist vibe nowadays that shows minimalism is not anymore for barefoot runners and Amish people but also for major websites. Note that minimalism takes practice and it is not as simple as tossing a content of a site and your job is done. Meaning, you still have to follow the principles of basic design like its major aspect of rule of threes like dividing the page up into thirds and content are placed on these axes. For a minimalist website, a triangular placement is also suggested where different objects are in an offset triangular trajectories producing an image that is pleasing.

Compartmentalizing is another trend, although this is not something new, but is now applied to the site design. This flat approach is observed to be adding excitement and it is done by bringing the content to the edges of the page, making images meet, thereby a seamless image is projected and making the site design compelling.

Coloring inside the lines only was the guideline in the past, but nowadays, site designs re coloring both sides of the line, with overlapping images and text lines, creating a great design.

Web designers nowadays are not only sticking to the white space but are also incorporating grids and other patterns and still maintaining the flow.

The next trend feels like a title from a movie termed as going vertical, where in doing the content, there is much re-arranging and re-shaping of it in a fun process. The idea is to focus on balancing the vertical and horizontal text thereby creating a movement, and thus your eye will go down the page to the appropriate content.

The so-called two-tone approach or trend is being applied today by web designers in their technique where a pastel color is chosen to be paired with a solid color. There are some sites now that use this technique on every page and element of the site that could be sometimes over the top, but it is the trend so why not.

Another trend today would be loved by illustrators and designers, and this is the use of illustrations which are meant to balance out the minimalist image of the site.
